Always God

God is always God. There is never a moment of any second that He takes a break from being Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient. His ears are never too tired to listen to your prayers, His eyes are never too weary to watch over you and His hands are never too weak to lift you up.

Take a moment to think about how tired we may become from even the easiest task. We become burnt out from lack of sleep or because of too much activity and our bodies scream for rest. Sometimes these bodies break down and refuse to go any further when we neglect to give ourselves a break.

Imagine if this happened to God. What if He was too busy to take your phone call? What if He was too tired to be God during the very moment you really needed Him? What if He took His own Holiness for granted and decided to let all hell break loose? 

Sometimes we question where God is in the midst of certain cirumstances that we do not understand. Yet the fact remains, God is still, and always God. Whatever it is that you are going through, He is there. He never tires of your voice or your tears. He is strong enough to hold you for the rest of your life and never grow weary. Put your trust in the God who is so consistent that He introduces Himself as “I AM.” He Is and Always Will Be.

Isaiah 40:28-31 (New International Version)

  ²⁸ Do you not know?
       Have you not heard?
       The LORD is the everlasting God,
       the Creator of the ends of the earth.
       He will not grow tired or weary,
       and his understanding no one can fathom.

 ²⁹ He gives strength to the weary
       and increases the power of the weak.

 ³⁰ Even youths grow tired and weary,
       and young men stumble and fall;

 ³¹ but those who hope in the LORD
       will renew their strength.
       They will soar on wings like eagles;
       they will run and not grow weary,
       they will walk and not be faint.
